I grew up in a small town in Alabama just outside of Birmingham called Corner. I spent my weekdays cheering on the Corner Yellow Jackets and the weekends the Auburn Tigers. It was instilled in me, from as soon as I could walk, that I would one day be an Auburn graduate.
Fast forward to today, I am proud to say that I am well on my way to earning a degree in Public Relations. I am even more proud to share with you the experiences that have brought me to this point.
Since January of 2022, I have worked on Auburn’s campus, interacting directly with students and families through the University’s Housing Office, Camp War Eagle and SOS Orientation Programs, and most recently, the Career Discovery and Success Center. I also served on the Executive Board of my sorority, Sigma Kappa, as Vice President of Alumnae Relations.
Though most of these jobs have dealt heavily with customer service, I realized that is where my passion lies. In not only serving people, but educating them and connecting them to what interests and grows them the most. That is why I also chose to Minor in History. I believe that we can learn so much from those that came before us and that it is important to keep their legacy alive in order to better our futures.
While I still have much to learn during my final year at Auburn, I am eager to immerse myself into the field of Public Relations and to make many meaningful connections along the way. Please check out my resume in the menu for more details on my past jobs and involvement.
